Policies For Returning Items At Walmart

IS WALMART RETURNABLE?

Walmart Yes (with only a few exceptions) (with just a few exceptions). We made a friendly return policy since we realize occasionally you purchase something that doesn’t work out. Our online and in-store refund policy is similar:

  • Online purchases: return time starts when your order arrives.
  • In-store purchases start the return period. Carry your receipt.

Walmart’s return policy applies to online purchases, including third-party Marketplace products. Marketplace returns apply to online purchases from third-party vendors.

Walmart allows 90-day returns on most products. Biggest sale available on black Friday deals Walmart.

EXCEPTIONS

Walmart’s return policy Note the following exceptions:

  • 14 days

Computers, tablets, laptops, monitors, printers, camcorders, digital cameras, GPS systems, wearable electronics, video game consoles & handhelds, computer games, and wireless prepaid phones.

  • 15 days

Contract phones. Statutory. Carrier conditions vary. Plan circumstances.

  • 30-days

Walmart’s return policy on Televisions, DVD players/recorders, home & portable audio systems, headphones, portable video players, telephones, products with flammable components, tents, pools, air conditioners, mattresses, MP3 players/iPod/iTouch, pre-recorded music, movies, software products, ink cartridges, air mattresses, breast pumps, drones with GPS function, outdoor power equipment, disposable contact lenses, eye glasses from Walmart Vision Centre, perennial live plants.

ITEMS BOUGHT IN STORE OR ON WALMART THAT MAY ONLY BE RETURNED IN PERSON.

Outdoor power equipment: Walmart fuel-powered equipment must be returned in store.

  • Return dangerous Walmart purchases to a store. Chemicals, compressed gas, and liquids might be hazardous.

STORE-UNRETURNABLE ITEMS

  • Walmart purchases above 100 lbs.

ca: full-sized beds, major appliances, and anything above 100 pounds need scheduled return delivery.

  • Jewelry above $40: call Customer Service at 1-800-328-0402 to arrange.

UNOPENED ITEMS

Walmart’s return policy on Video games, computer games, portable video players, headphones & portable audio, pre-recorded music, movies, software products, ink cartridges, disposable contact lenses, air mattresses, breast pumps, drones with GPS function, personal care items (feminine care, hands & feet, incontinence, massage & spa products, men’s grooming, oral care, and woman’s hair removal).

CLOSEOUTS

Walmart’s return policy on Prescription medication, Walmart gift cards, third-party gift cards, prepaid phone cards, ammunition, fireworks, digital downloads, pierced earrings, special order jeweler, photo custom services, underwear or items that include underwear, swimwear when hygiene liner is removed, sexual wellness items, family planning products, clearance items (except Walmart private brands), trading & collecting cards, annual live plants, and bulk landscaping products 100lb or more.

ALCOHOL PRODUCTS

Walmart’s return policy have quality concern, alcohol may only be returned to the retailer.

GROCERIES AND KIDS’ CLOTHES? CAN I RETURN THOSE PRODUCTS?

Absolutely! Walmart’s return policy guarantee your pleasure for children’s clothes, exclusive brands to Walmart Canada, fruit, meat, and seafood, with the following exceptions:

  • Receipt needed

Children’s clothes and shoes (excluding accessories)

Clothing sizes 0–16; footwear Pre-walk/Toddler (0–10) and Youth (Boys 11–13, 1–6 / Girls 11–13, 1–4).

If worn out before outgrowing, children’s clothes and shoes may be replaced. Replacement will be equivalent or comparable in size and price.

Produce, Bakery, Deli, Meat, and Seafood—No time limit Grocery Delivery purchases may only be refunded online three days following delivery.

  • Exclusive Walmart Brands – No time restriction except ONN/Black Web items, which has a 1-year warranty from receipt.

THIRD-PARTY ITEM RETURN POLICY?

IN-STORE RETURNS

Third-party items under $150 CAD may be returned to any Walmart store, with certain caveats. Contact the third party vendor to return anything above $150.00 CAD on Walmart’s return policy.

Contact the vendor for third-party goods in these categories.

  • Stores won’t take these.
  • Fuel-powered outdoor gear
  • Hazard (i.e. hazardous materials containing chemicals, compressed gas or liquids which could pose a health or safety risk, etc.)
  • Large goods (i.e. full-sized mattresses, large appliances, items weighing over 100 pounds, etc.)

Third-party products returned to Walmart must include the order number and original packaging.

REFUND PERIOD

Walmart’s return policy Except for electronics, third-party sellers have a 30-day return window. The following products have a 14-day return period:

  • Computers , tables, Laptops
  • Monitors
  • Printers , Camcorders
  • Digi cams
  • GPS units
  • Wearables
  • Game consoles
  • Gaming
  • Videogames
  • Prepaid phones

Contract post-paid phones have a 15-day return window. Contract post-paid phones cannot return longer. Statutory. Carrier conditions vary. See plan conditions.

RETURN ABILITY

If a seller’s return policy is satisfied, you may contact the seller for return instructions or return eligible products to a Walmart store.

All in-store and direct-to-seller goods have the following exclusions.

  • Sale products are non-refundable.

Prescription drugs, prepaid phone cards, pierced ears, special order jewelry, picture custom services, undergarments, swimsuit with hygiene liner removed, sexual wellness goods, family planning tools, and meals.

  • Unopened items

Walmart’s return policy on Video games, computer games, portable video players, headphones & portable audio, prerecorded music, movies, software, ink cartridges, disposable contact lenses, air mattresses, breast pumps, drones with GPS, personal care products (feminine care, hands and feet, incontinence, massage and spa products, men’s grooming, oral care, and woman’s hair removal), and car seats.

  • Halloween costumes

Unopened Halloween costumes may be returned in store or directly to seller up to 7 days before October 31.

  • Food

Walmart’s return policy on Third-party-sold food is final. Walmart shops and sellers cannot accept food returns. Please contact the seller to obtain a refund if the item arrived expired, damaged, or wrong.

  • Exclusions

Some suppliers have exclusions. Please ask the seller about an item’s return policy.

Direct-to-seller returns may involve return postage.
